Dear Doctoral Candidates,
We would like to inform you about the ongoing call for applications to the scholarship programmes offered by the Polish-U.S. Fulbright Commission, addressed to doctoral candidates planning to conduct research in the United States.
Currently, applications are open for two programmes:
- Fulbright Junior Research Award 2027–2028
This programme is intended for doctoral candidates holding Polish citizenship who are preparing their doctoral dissertation at Polish research institutions. The scholarship enables recipients to carry out their own research project at a U.S. university, non-profit research institute, or non-governmental organisation for a period of 4 to 10 months. Applications are accepted from all academic disciplines, excluding projects requiring direct contact with patients.
- Fulbright Research Award at Stanford University School of Medicine 2027–2028
This programme is intended for doctoral candidates conducting research in the fields of cell, molecular or structural biology, biochemistry, biophysics, and related disciplines. The scholarship provides an opportunity to carry out a research project at the Stanford University School of Medicine, in collaboration with the Rogala Lab, for a period of 8 to 10 months.
