Competition for the best doctoral student of Bialystok University of Technology in the academic year 2024/2025

Dear Doctoral Candidates,

The Doctoral School of Bialystok University of Technology announces the next edition of the Competition for the Best Doctoral Student of Bialystok University of Technology for the academic year 2024/2025.

Participation in the competition is open to doctoral candidates and graduates of the Doctoral School of BUT who, in the completed academic year, pursued education in one of the disciplines conducted at Bialystok University of Technology. The evaluation covers the doctoral candidates’ achievements in the past academic year, including scientific publications, conference presentations, obtained patents, participation in research projects, research internships, and progress in preparing the doctoral dissertation.

The rules of participation in the competition are defined in Ordinance No. 21/2025 of the Rector of Bialystok University of Technology of 19 March 2025 on the implementation of the Regulations of the Competition for the Best Doctoral Student of Bialystok University of Technology, available on the website of the Public Information Bulletin of Bialystok University of Technology.

Application procedure

Doctoral candidates shall submit a complete set of application documents to the Secretariat of the Doctoral School (Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, room 340) by 20 October 2025.

The application should include:

• Application form for the competition – Annex No. 1 to the Regulations,

• Consent for recording and dissemination of image – Annex No. 2 to the Regulations.
