Dear Doctoral Candidates,
We would like to inform you about the ACT! Summer School, an interdisciplinary summer school focused on sustainable land use, climate change, and biodiversity. The event is open to PhD students from universities participating in the Baltic University Programme (BUP), including Bialystok University of Technology.
The summer school will take place on 10–17 August 2026 in Tartu, Estonia, and will be hosted by the Estonian University of Life Sciences. The programme covers topics such as Earth observation, spatial data analysis, land-use modelling, and governance aspects of sustainability.
Participation is free of charge (lunches and coffee breaks provided). Travel and accommodation costs are covered by participants.
