Dear Doctoral Students,
The 2nd Doctoral Students’ Day at Bialystok University of Technology will take place on 23 October 2026 (Friday). As the event approaches, we would like to provide you with essential organisational information and the detailed programme.
Venue: Training Room of the Academic Business Incubator, Sigma Centre, 10 Zwierzyniecka Street, Białystok.
Participant registration will begin at 11:00 a.m., followed by the official opening of the event at 11:30 a.m.
Event Programme
- 11:30–11:45 – Official Opening.
- 11:45–12:00 – “Start-up – First Steps in Business: How the University Supports Young Entrepreneurs” – Dr Łukasz Siemieniuk.
- 12:00–12:45 – Presentation of the Doctoral School and the Doctoral Students’ Council – Prof. Oleksandr Jewtuszenko, MSc Eng. Dominika Nowińska.
- 12:45–13:00 – “Opportunities Offered through NAWA and Erasmus+ KA2 Projects” – Marta Orpik, MA.
- 13:00–13:15 – “Across European University – An Idea or Real Opportunities?” – Grażyna Jakimiuk, MA.
- 13:15–13:30 – “Doctoral Students in Research Projects – Funding and Participation Opportunities” – Prof. Joanicjusz Nazarko.
- 13:30–14:00 – Coffee Break.
- 14:00–15:30 – Scientific Speed Meeting for Doctoral Students.
The event will provide an opportunity to learn about academic and professional development prospects, available forms of support, and initiatives dedicated to the doctoral community. It will also serve as a platform for networking, exchanging experiences, and fostering scientific collaboration.
