2nd International Young Researchers Conference with the Participation of the Doctoral School of BUT

The 2nd edition of the International Young Researchers Conference: Ideas, Research, Training was held at Bialystok University of Technology on June 25–26, 2025. The event brought together over 50 participants—young scientists, doctoral students, and undergraduate researchers from both Polish and international technical universities.

As a co-organizer of the conference, the Doctoral School of Bialystok University of Technology actively contributed to both the organizational and academic aspects of the event. The primary goal of the conference was to provide a platform for sharing research results, exchanging experiences, and fostering collaboration among young researchers from various disciplines within engineering, technical sciences, and management and quality studies.

Participants represented institutions including Silesian University of Technology, Poznan University of Technology, Rzeszow University of Technology, Wroclaw University of Science and Technology, Lomza Academy, and the Technical University of Košice (Slovakia). They took part in oral sessions, poster presentations, and training workshops.

The conference covered research topics in the following scientific disciplines:

  • Electronics, Electrical Engineering and Space Technologies,

  • Information and Communication Technology,

  • Biomedical Engineering,

  • Civil Engineering, Geodesy and Transport,

  • Mechanical Engineering,

  • Environmental Engineering,

  • Mining and Power Engineering,

  • Chemical Engineering,

  • Materials Engineering,

  • Management and Quality Sciences.

A post-conference monograph will be published, presenting selected research contributions. This will help promote the participants’ work and support the scientific development of early-career researchers.

The conference was organized by the Doctoral Student Council of Bialystok University of Technology, the Doctoral School of BUT, and the Agreement of Doctoral Candidates of Technical Universities. The event was held under the honorary patronage of the Rector of Bialystok University of Technology, the Mayor of Bialystok, and the Marshal of the Podlaskie Voivodeship. The initiative was co-financed by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education as part of the project titled Via Carpatia Technical Network named after the President of the Republic of Poland Lech Kaczyński.
