We are pleased to inform you that on 27 February 2025, the Senate of Bialystok University of Technology adopted Resolution No. 23/VI/XVII/2025 on the adoption of the new Regulations of the Doctoral School of Bialystok University of Technology. The document will enter into force on 1 October 2025, at the beginning of the 2025/2026 academic year.
The new regulations define the rules for organizing and conducting education for doctoral students at the Doctoral School, taking into account current legal provisions and the evolving needs of the academic community. The most important changes include:
🔹 Introduction of provisions supporting persons with disabilities – during both the recruitment process and the course of education;
🔹 Detailed framework for the implementation of professional practice – including the required teaching load and the procedure for crediting it;
🔹 Possibility of exemption from mandatory English language classes – upon presenting valid documents confirming English proficiency at level B2 or higher.
The full text of the new regulations will be published on the Doctoral School’s website on 1 October 2025, the day the document enters into force.
